Delivery Specifications of Digital Files

For large format printing:

  • Build files at 10% of the final size.
  • All bitmaps and rasterized images should be 10% size at 300dpi and CMYK.
  • Ensure your file mode is CMYK
  • Please deliver match print with measurements and color references (PMS/Pantone numbers)

For offset:

  • Build files at 100% of the final size.
  • Create 3mm bleed all around
  • All bitmaps and rasterized images should be 100% size at 300dpi and CMYK or PMS.
  • Ensure your file mode is CMYK
  • Please deliver match print with measurements and color references (PMS/Pantone numbers)

We accept the native files of the programs below:

Illustrator (up to CS3)

  • Ensure file mode is CMYK. Supplied RGB files will be converted into CMYK mode, a change in color might occur.
  • Supply all used fonts or convert all fonts into outlines.
  • Deliver imported illustrations and/or scans.
  • Do not change PMS colours into CMYK values.
  • Please save as either ai or eps.

Photoshop (up to CS3)

  • Ensure file mode is CMYK. Supplied RGB files will be converted into CMYK mode, a change in color might occur.
  • Deliver the file at 10% of the final size at 300 dpi.
  • Rasterize all type layers
  • Please save as either psd, tiff

InDesign (up to CS3)

  • Please run preflight before creating a Package.
  • Collect for output by creating a package including all fonts and images.
  • Do not change PMS colours into CMYK values.
  • Please save as .indd file

Files exported or saved as PDF should be produced according to the following profiles:

PDF files are NOT considered to be color proofs (computer screens and prints often don’t match.) please provide an approved color printout of the PDF file.

Scans

  • Always scan images in CMYK, also give us scales and sizes.
  • Deliver always of a minimum 20 cm extra image (for finishing)

Delivery of Files

Please deliver files by either E-mail, CD, DVD or put it on our server via an ftp programme (contact us for login name and password)

Everybody uses different programs on different systems; we have different settings to process your print job. The easiest way to send files is to use pdf files. They hold the fonts*, links and colour, and the file size is small, making it easy to upload the files on our website. The important point here is, if you are not an expert or are uncertain of anything, please ask us, we are here to help you.
